Hotel Reservations Specialist-Remote
Job Description
The Hotel Reservations Specialist provides exceptional service to hotel guests through phone and email interactions, processing reservation and payment transactions, and providing information and assistance to enhance guest enjoyment of their vacation experience.
Responsibilities
As a Hotel Reservations Specialist, you would be responsible for:
ā¢ Servicing a large volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails from hotel guests, processing transactions in the reservations system with accuracy and attention to detail, delivering exceptional customer service in a friendly, personalized manner
ā¢ Providing accurate, comprehensive information and recommendations about our properties, products, and services
ā¢ Using personalized discovery and conversion techniques to increase transactions that generate company revenue and guest satisfaction
ā¢ Responding to Owner emails and requests for call-backs within established response time standards
ā¢ Taking personal ownership in resolving issues and complaints by thoroughly researching the issue, identifying solution options, advancing to a supervisor if applicable and ensuring resolution is implemented in a timely manner.
Qualifications
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
ā¢ A positive, professional individual with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor
ā¢ Outstanding written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
ā¢ Ability to access, read, and accurately input data in a moderately sophisticated computer system
ā¢ Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10-key calculator
ā¢ Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
ā¢ Ability to handle and diffuse problem situations with courtesy, empathy, and a solution driven approach
ā¢ Ability to switch between multiple systems and software programs to complete all work processes
ā¢ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
ā¢ Must live in the Las Vegas, NV or Orlando, FL area
