Medical Biller – Hospice/Home Health Focus

As a Medical Biller, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end billing, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursements for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. Candidates with experience using Waystar, Availity, DDE/FISS, or handling RAP/NOA submissions are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Submit and track claims (UB-04) for Medicare and commercial payers
• Perform eligibility checks, denial management, and payer follow-ups
• Handle NOE/NOC submissions and maintain compliance with Medicare hospice billing regulations
• Use clearinghouses like Waystar and payer portals like Availity
• Maintain accurate patient records and resolve billing discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with providers, insurance reps, and patients
Preferred Experience:
• 2+ years in medical billing, preferably in hospice, palliative care, SNF, or home health
• Familiar with Medicare billing, Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) rules, and electronic claims systems
• Working knowledge of DDE/FISS, HIQA, NOA/RAP, and denial resolution
• Prior experience at a revenue cycle management (RCM) company or billing for DME is a plus
