Hospice Marketer

Our team is dedicated to supporting patients and their families during one of life’s most challenging moments. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced healthcare Marketer to join our team and help expand awareness of our services within a 60-mile radius of Genesee County area. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase awareness of our hospice services Build and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, case managers, discharge planners, and other external referral sources Conduct regular visits to current and potential referral sources to educate on our services and assist with pending referrals Organize and attend community events, health fairs, and other health related initiatives to increase awareness of our brand Maintaining comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assisting consumers in accessing community resources Develop market strategies, increase brand awareness, and drive patient referrals to support the company’s growth Other duties as assigned Education/ Experience Required: At least 1 year of experience in healthcare marketing or other specialty that involves interacting with other health care agencies and professionals High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the healthcare or hospice industry Strong understanding of hospice services and the needs of patients and their families Excellent communication and time management skills. Self-driven and reliable. Skilled at maintaining professional relationships with key referral sources. Flexible, with the ability to work independently and with minimal guidance. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively and tactfully deal with a diverse group of patients, staff, customers, and community groups. General computer proficiency Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
