Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time
About the position
At Advantage Home Health and Hospice, we believe that compassionate care is at the heart of hospice. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team, providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families during their most vulnerable moments. Join our ever-expanding Hospice team in Media, PA. This role offers the chance to directly provide patient care within homes, truly making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities
• Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients in their homes or facilities.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, pain management, and symptom control.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for patients.
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
Requirements
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Valid Driver's license and state required Auto Insurance
• A deep sense of empathy and compassion for patients and their families.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to provide physical and emotional comfort to those in need.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with the hospice care team.
Nice-to-haves
• Understanding of end-of-life care principles (experience in hospice is a plus).
