About Us
Modulo is a new company that helps families curate their child's education as a supplement or replacement to traditional school. Our mission is to give every child the chance to thrive through customized education that meets their unique needs. We don’t believe there is any perfect solution for every child, but that we can help parents find the perfect education for their unique child through the right combination of teachers, classes, curriculum, parent-led instruction and independent learning opportunities - drawing from the incredible reservoir or learning opportunities available today. Families often feel overwhelmed and confused customizing their child’s education. We make it easy by finding the ideal combination of local and online classes, tutors and curriculum to meet their unique needs.
About you
We are looking for a teacher who is very high energy, compassionate, patient, has experience working with learners online, flexible, adept at differentiating teaching methods for different kinds of learners, and excited to innovate. The teacher will not have to spend time preparing curriculum outside of sessions. We can provide you with a curriculum plan or you can use your own. Typically our tutors support children as they move through learning apps we recommend.
The teacher must also have extremely fast Wifi.
Schedule Times
You can set your own schedule and accept bookings at times that work for you.
Schedule Dates
The position will be ongoing during the school year.
Activities are flexible, but may include
• Helping with homework
• Supporting child as she moves through an adaptive learning app
• Leading movement breaks

In the application, you’ll be asked to provide
• Your full schedule of availability
• Intro video: A short unlisted youtube video introducing yourself and sharing your experience tutoring math and any experience you have teaching math and/or working children on the autism spectrum (as a teacher, friend/family member or your own experience as a learner)
• Demo video: A 3-10 minute demo video of you giving a sample lesson
Tips for your video:
To demonstrate that you have a strong ability to facilitate learning online
• Put the camera at eye level or above when recording
• Use a laptop, NOT your phone and be sure the camera is horizontal
• Ensure you have a mike and can be heard and seen
• Dress appropriately and confirm your camera is not blurry
