Job description: We are seeking a Home Health Administrative Assistant, LVN or MA to join our team. In this role, you will collect, manage, and report on the scheduling information. This is an important position that allows us to provide comprehensive and consistent patient care by coordinating medical and health services. Responsibilities
• Coordinate internal and external staffing needs.
• Assign clients to the appropriate clinicians.
• Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverage.
• Communicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their schedule.
• Communicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changes.
• Assist in the hiring, training, and management of new staff.
• Communicate with patients to understand their healthcare concerns.
• Provide health care and nutritional advice when appropriate.
• Monitor patient recovery.
• Write reports and provide them to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies in a well-organized and sterile fashion.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Previous experience as a LVN or MA in a similar position is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Compassionate and empathetic.
