As the Home Delivery Pharmacy Technician, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7pm CST (with potential weekend shifts depending on business needs)
Location: Remote in the state of Illinois or Iowa

Primary Responsibilities:
Customer onboarding
Prescription requests
Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery
Creation / routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
Review and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions
Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details

Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned
Extensive work experience within own function
Works independently

Required Qualifications:
Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of residence OR National Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements of worksite OR the ability to obtain licensing within 1 year of employment
1 years of customer service experience
Must live in state of Iowa or Illinois
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
Healthcare industry experience
