Responsibilities
Ā Ensures care center is compliant with all regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
Ā Educates all staff members about state, federal and accreditation requirements (as applicable).
Ā Ensures that all services are billed as provided to the proper payor source.
Ā Directs weekly business development and management team meetings with all appropriate staff and other members of the medical community to promote home care services.
Ā Provides input, guidance and feedback related to marketing activities and agency marketing plans to ensure that goals for growth are met.
Ā Assigns and directs staff with appropriate skills to perform duties.
Ā Coaches, directs, and encourages staff through formal and informal means.
Ā Analyzes work processes and makes suggestions for improvement.
Ā Responsible for care center financial and clinical performance and delivery of key metrics within the established budget.
Ā Responsible for employment decisions for direct report staff, including decisions to hire, fire, advance, promote or change status.
Ā Monitors and evaluates employee performance.
Ā Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ā Bachelor's degree in business or clinical-related field.
Ā Three years of experience in leadership/management in health care, home health or hospice.
OR
Ā Five years of experience in leadership/management in health care, home health or hospice in lieu of a degree.
Preferred
Ā Current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse or other health care professional specific to that state you are assigned to work.
Ā Master's degree in business or clinical-related field and licensed clinical professional.
Ā Experience in home health.
