The Home-Based Junior Developer will be an integral part of developing our systems by designing and developing Web APIs and business integration software. A strong background in software development will provide a basis for success. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Independently develops solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, creates functional and balanced solutions for business problems by utilizing clean code and appropriate design patterns. • Strong communication skills to ask questions, seek requirements, and convey knowledge on technical and complex topics. • Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analyses, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and integrating existing solutions. • Clears understanding of system architecture and software design principles/patterns with an emphasis on maximizing usability. • Protects operations by keeping information confidential and prioritizing the application's security. • Troubleshoots by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. • Helps the business to implement technology improvements and solutions cost-effectively. • Accomplishes engineering and organizational mission by completing related goals as needed. • Demonstrates strong integrity, dependability, attention to detail, and an interest in learning. • Performs tasks analogous to the foregoing. WHAT WE LOOK FOR • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, business management, or any related field. • Experience: 3+ years of experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and API Integrations. Familiarity with DNS, Database management, and ServiceTitan is a plus • Develop and implement backend solutions for efficient creation and management of website content. • Style homepages based off designs created by our Creative Department using CSS, ensuring they are responsive, visually appealing, and functional. • Manage DNS and database tasks for website launches. • Perform ongoing maintenance tasks on existing client websites, including adding content or modules and troubleshooting issues • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to execute website strategies. • Utilize WordPress and its environment to build and maintain websites. • Work with APIs for enhanced website functionality. • Maintain thorough documentation of development processes and changes. • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges WHAT WE OFFER • Salary Range: PHP 55,000 - 65,000 • Industry: Business Consultation • Job Type: Full-time • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (USA) • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA) • Benefits of working with us: • Industry-leading salary packages. • Permanent work-from-home setup. • Company equipment provided. • Internet stipends upon hiring. • HMO Coverage. • PTO credits and service incentive leaves. • Major spring and winter company live events. • Monthly employee appreciation virtual events. • Company-provided career skills training courses. • A company culture focused on your personal and professional growth.
