• *Role Responsibilities
• Author historically accurate prompts spanning global, regional, and thematic history topics.
• Review and revise AI-generated responses for factual correctness, nuance, and historiographic soundness.
• Write expert-level “gold” responses for complex or ambiguous historical questions.
• Create controlled prompt variations that test differences in scope, framing, and interpretation.
• Evaluate model outputs across varying lengths, styles, and instructional constraints.
• Surface edge cases where models struggle with chronology, causality, or historical interpretation.
• *Qualifications
• *Must-Have
• PhD in History or a closely related field.
• Native English Speaker.
• Demonstrated experience with archival research, historiography, or academic writing.
• Strong command of historical methodology and source evaluation.
• Excellent written communication and attention to factual precision.
• Ability to work independently and make careful, well-reasoned editorial judgments.
• *Compensation & Legal
• $60/hour for expert contributors.
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
