Role Description
This role involves working as a Virtual Triage Nurse I for CareBridge, requiring bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates licensed in specific states.
ā¢ Work location is virtual full-time with required in-person training sessions.
ā¢ Work shift is from 11am to 9pm (Central Standard Time).
ā¢ The RN will work eight (8) 10-hour shifts in a two-week period, including every other weekend.
ā¢ Responsible for determining appropriate Care Management programs for members.
ā¢ Utilizes nursing process to meet individual health needs using plan benefits and community resources.
ā¢ Educates members about contracted physicians, facilities, and healthcare providers.
ā¢ Develops working partnerships with members, physicians, and healthcare service providers.
ā¢ Collaborates with medical management and care management associates to identify issues and assign to appropriate care management programs.
ā¢ Facilitates selecting appropriate candidates for referral to CM and/or DM.
ā¢ Documents clinical information, decisions, and determinations accurately and timely.
ā¢ Develops knowledge of member benefits, contracts, medical policy, and current healthcare practices.
Qualifications
ā¢ AS in nursing and minimum of 2 years of acute care clinical experience, or equivalent background.
ā¢ Current, valid, active, and unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) required.
ā¢ Bilingual Spanish language skills are required.
Requirements
ā¢ Current, active RN Compact license highly preferred.
ā¢ Emergency Room and/or Urgent Care experience highly preferred.
ā¢ Telehealth experience.
ā¢ Experience with EMR systems.
ā¢ BS in nursing preferred.
ā¢ Participation and/or certification in a managed care or utilization management organization preferred.
ā¢ Ability to understand clinical information and prepare concise summaries preferred.
ā¢ Basic knowledge of medical management and care management processes preferred.
