We are hiring for a part-time position at this time, but willing to move to full-time. As a Personal Care Aide your job will mainly consist of following the client's care plan and: Basic personal care and grooming. Transfer assistance. Assistance with toileting, showering, and other hygiene measures. Assistance with nutrition, hydration, and meal preparation. Light housekeeping. Companionship Starting pay: $18-21/hr (depending on experience) paid weekly. Educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, GED. Physical requirements for this position: Ability to lift and carry up to and including 50lbs. Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend over. Ability to squat. Ability to use hands/fingers for typing. Ability to climb stairs. Other necessities include: A valid driver’s license. A reliable insured vehicle (You will be required to drive to client houses) Reliable phone and email. Be at least 18 years of age. A criminal background check will be processed for both the state of ME and NH. Schedule: Monday-Friday No weekends Experience is preferred, but paid training will be given.
