Role Description

This role involves reviewing and correcting transcribed emergency calls.
• Comfort working with challenging material, as some audio may contain sensitive or distressing content
• Proofreading the English translation of transcripts
• Access to our platform along with transcription and translation conventions and task guidelines
• Transcripts and translations will be reviewed for quality and adherence to guidelines

Qualifications
• Native speaker of Spanish as spoken in the United States
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Currently residing in the US for at least 3 years, or has recently lived in the US for at least 5 years
• Proven experience in speech transcription, particularly for challenging audio
• Proven experience with transcription tools
• Quality-focused with close attention to detail
• Ability to follow guidelines and work independently
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Availability of 5-6 hours/week for 6-8 weeks
