[Hiring] Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst @Humana
Role Description
Humana is seeking an individual for the Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to provide support for pharmacy programs, working heavily with market and finance partners to achieve success on the Service Fund team. This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation and valuation of new pharmacy programs, as well as the maintenance of current programs.
ā¢ Utilizes complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and other technical skills to drive process improvement and assist in managing pharmacy program expense allocation
ā¢ Conducts research and produces reporting of monthly activity, providing an understanding of how the data reconciles and what it means for current and potential programs
ā¢ Assists in producing reports and completing ad hoc requests using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and other various analytical tools
ā¢ Provides support for payments to value-based specialists
ā¢ Aids in the evaluation of new pharmacy program opportunities
Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data analysis experience OR Master's degree and 3+ years of data analysis experience
ā¢ 2+ years' advanced experience developing complex SQL queries
ā¢ 1+ years' experience in Healthcare related data ie. Provider, Insurance, etc.
ā¢ 1+ years' experience with pharmacy claims data
ā¢ Advanced knowledge of Excel (ex. Pivot tables, Vlookups, formatting etc.)
ā¢ Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
ā¢ Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Requirements
ā¢ Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
ā¢ Experience in health insurance related data ie. Medicare, Medicaid, Claims, Premium Data, etc.
ā¢ Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Databricks
ā¢ Experience with Pyspark and/or Python
ā¢ Experience with tools such as Power BI for creating data visualizations

ā¢ Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$89,000 - $121,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
