Therapist Job Responsibilities
Ā Builds a positive and trusting relationship with patients.
Ā Assesses and treats individuals with mental health disorders.
Ā Develops customized treatment plans based on the specific needs and circumstances of each patient.
Ā Regularly meets with patients to provide counseling, develop treatment plans, and make client referrals as necessary.
Ā Continuously evaluates and monitors patient progress.
Ā Collaborates and advises family members when appropriate.
Ā Refers patients to external specialists or agencies if required.
Ā Maintains comprehensive records of patient meetings and progress.
Ā Adheres to all safety protocols and ensures client confidentiality.
Ā Contributes to the practice by completing related tasks as needed.
Therapist Qualifications/Skills
Ā Competent interpersonal skills
Ā Exceptional communication and listening skills
Ā Aptitude for establishing rapport swiftly
Ā Attentive to details
Ā Proficient in communicating with compassion and empathy
Ā Effective time management and task prioritization abilities
Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements
Ā Applicants must have a master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
Ā Must hold current state licensing in LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, MD, or DO
Ā Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $50,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year (depending on licensure)
