Role Description
The National Director of Operations (Restoration) will play a key leadership role in launching, supporting, and scaling residential mitigation services across new markets. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution. The right candidate can think at the platform level while also diving into the practical realities of building restoration operations in new markets.

What Success Looks Like
ā¢ Launch new mitigation outposts successfully and on schedule
ā¢ Build a repeatable launch and operating playbook
ā¢ Recruit, mentor, and support strong local outpost leaders
ā¢ Maintain clear operational focus on:
ā¢ jobs
ā¢ revenue
ā¢ gross profit
ā¢ urgency and responsiveness
ā¢ Travel into markets to solve real-world operational challenges quickly
ā¢ Establish field discipline without slowing growth
ā¢ Help build a scalable national mitigation platform
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead execution of the company's mitigation outpost expansion strategy
ā¢ Help determine market prioritization and launch sequencing
ā¢ Recruit, train, and coach local market/outpost leaders
ā¢ Travel frequently to support new market launches and operational stabilization
ā¢ Develop and refine:
ā¢ operating playbooks
ā¢ SOPs
ā¢ performance scorecards
ā¢ training and accountability rhythms
ā¢ Coordinate launch logistics including:
ā¢ trucks and vans
ā¢ mitigation equipment
ā¢ vehicle wraps and branding
ā¢ warehouse/storage space
ā¢ insurance setup
ā¢ basic field infrastructure
ā¢ Drive KPI accountability across markets including:
ā¢ job volume
ā¢ revenue
ā¢ gross profit
ā¢ speed-to-lead
ā¢ speed-to-site
ā¢ conversion rates
ā¢ Partner with leadership and marketing teams to support lead generation and growth
ā¢ Provide field support and coaching when operational issues arise
Qualifications
ā¢ Significant experience in the restoration industry
ā¢ Strong background in mitigation services
ā¢ Proven accountability for branch, market, or regional performance
ā¢ Experience across multiple restoration functions such as:
ā¢ mitigation
ā¢ estimating
ā¢ project management
ā¢ large loss
ā¢ field operations
ā¢ team leadership and coaching
ā¢ Experience launching or stabilizing new branches or markets is highly preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile
ā¢ Former General Manager, Regional GM, Director of Operations, Regional Director, or similar
ā¢ A high-performing branch leader ready to step into a larger leadership role
ā¢ Operators with deep field credibility who understand how restoration businesses actually run
Additional Requirements
ā¢ Residential restoration experience required
ā¢ Strong mitigation experience required
ā¢ Operations and sales experience
ā¢ Industry relationships with insurance carriers, plumbers, contractors, or subcontractors are a plus
ā¢ Ability and willingness to travel 50%+
