As a Work- From- Home FEP Customer Service Representative in the Customer Service Center you are responsible for handling incoming phone calls and being the primary customer interface for inquiries. Our service representatives inform and educate as well as serve as member advocate, building trust in our abilities and being the voice of the customer. Candidates applying for this role must live within the state of Nebraska or Omaha metro at the time of application. BCBSNE is happy to offer three work designations for our Omaha area employees: 100% in-office, Hybrid, and 100% remote. What you'll do: Ability to investigate & resolve claims inquiries. Records information into Claims systems to ensure proper documentation. Demonstrates an understanding of applicable federal, state, & industry laws & helps ensure compliance with regulations. Responds to inquires from internal & external customer via various means of communication. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams & external customers. Ability to navigate through various Claims systems. Participates in projects, as assigned. To be considered for this position, you must have: High School Diploma + 2 years' experience.
