Role Description
This is a remote position.
Shapely, a physician-led telehealth weight loss company, is seeking a motivated and passionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team. As an RDN at Shapely, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals on their weight loss journey through telehealth services.
ā¢ Provide direct consultations to patients.
ā¢ Craft educational content for clients.
ā¢ Utilize templates and educational materials to guide patients toward their weight loss goals.
Qualifications
ā¢ Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary guidelines, and weight loss strategies.
ā¢ Experience in supporting clients with weight loss.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Technologically savvy and comfortable with telehealth platforms.
ā¢ Motivated, compassionate, and dedicated to improving health outcomes.
ā¢ Preference: Flexibility to transition to full-time as the company grows.
ā¢ Preference: Experience working with senior patient population.
ā¢ Preference: Experience serving clients who are on GLP-1 medications.
Requirements
ā¢ Conduct one-on-one telehealth consultations with patients to assess their dietary needs, create personalized nutrition plans, and monitor their weight loss progress.
ā¢ Create handouts, blogs, and other educational materials to enhance patient education related to weight loss.
ā¢ Utilize templates and other educational materials to provide direct patient education on nutrition during video sessions.
ā¢ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including providers, to provide comprehensive care and support.
ā¢ Document patient interactions, progress, and recommendations in our electronic health record (EHR) in accordance with company standards.
Benefits
ā¢ 1099 independent contractor role with competitive hourly pay.
ā¢ Compensation is hourly and tied to available clinical hours per week to ensure predictable, reliable pay. Rates are as follows:
ā¢ Follow-up visits: $60/hour
ā¢ Initial visits: $40/hour
ā¢ Cancellations and no-shows (within available hours): $40/hour
ā¢ Flexible, fully remote work ā see patients from home on your schedule.
ā¢ Clear pathway to increased hours and full-time availability as patient demand grows.
ā¢ Mentorship and collaboration with experienced RDs, MDs, and NPs.
ā¢ Professional liability (malpractice) insurance covered by Shapely.
