Role Description This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with strong analytical ability and a desire to advance within the organization. The work of a Consultant will involve both execution and oversight of engagement work streams that may be either qualitative or quantitative in nature, and responsibilities include: β’ Management of junior staff β’ Design of statistical and financial analysis β’ Modeling of financial data and markets β’ Quality control β’ Development and presentation of client deliverables β’ Management of existing client relationships β’ Industry research β’ Expansion of business Responsibilities include: β’ Lead Supply Chain workstreams on client engagements β’ Identify improvements in cost or operational processes that deliver value to clients β’ Assist Supply Chain and Department Leaders in establishing efficient business processes β’ Execute the infrastructure project plan for the facility β’ Maintain a cost-effective and efficient materials process utilizing LEAN principles β’ Develop advanced supply distribution processes and inventory level controls β’ Ensure logistic and materials management activities are integrated with quality outcomes β’ Quickly assess and create a workable plan for the department β’ Develop, direct, and enforce departmental policies and procedures β’ Communicate expectations and vision for top-tier performance β’ Establish performance metrics to measure productivity β’ Leverage materials management technology solutions β’ Engage regularly with key clinical leaders and physician stakeholders β’ Perform other duties as directed to ensure departmental effectiveness Qualifications β’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent training/experience β’ 3-6 years of managerial experience in a healthcare environment β’ 3+ years of related work experience in healthcare advisory/consulting experience in the supply chain β’ Extensive experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint β’ Strong communication and presentation skills β’ Extensive knowledge in Procure to Pay, supply chain logistics, inventory management, LEAN or other process improvement techniques β’ Demonstrated experience in delivering projects covering the full life cycle of assessment, design, and implementation support Requirements β’ Travel as needed (Up to 75%) β’ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum β’ Walking and standing are required for long periods of time β’ Regular use of hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, or technology β’ May require climbing stairs or navigating uneven surfaces β’ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and via electronic means β’ Visual and auditory acuity necessary to perform job duties safely and effectively Benefits β’ Consultant Salary Range: $70,000 β $150,000 per year Apply tot his job
