Role Description This role involves using expertise in technology to improve the care and diagnosis of patients requiring cardiac monitoring. • Real-time monitoring and evaluation of cardiac rhythms • EKG analysis of transmitted data • Observe and interpret heart monitors, including irregular heartbeats, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest • Communicate abnormal findings to the cardiology care team • Record and edit monitor logs • Prepare a full disclosure report for entry into the EMR once the physician evaluates and approves • Effectively recognize ECG abnormalities and report information to physicians as required • Produce reports delivered to the physician and perform report format modifications as requested • Track monitor type, charges, ordering physician, date monitor provided, return date, and when report sent to physician • Create clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity during the shift • Sort and file all papers received by fax or electronically • Basic monitor troubleshooting with patients • Follow clinical protocols • Orient new staff • Participate in continued team education through shared learnings • Contribute to a high-quality service to both physicians and patients • Stay current and comply with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies Qualifications • Experience with MCT, Event, and Holter report building • 1 year experience in a healthcare role or certification in a healthcare role • Strong technical and computer skills • Licensed Paramedic • Licensed LPN or RN • Degree in exercise physiology or similar • Enrolled in college for nursing or healthcare • Great communication and multi-tasking skills Requirements • Certified CRAT/CCT • Experience with MCT monitoring Benefits • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule • Shifts Available, EST (please indicate shift preference you have) • Evening, weekends, and nights • Work Location: Remote • Job Type: Full-time Pay $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Experience Requirements Mid Level Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
