- Upload patient documentation into the employer's electronic medical record system
- Communicate discrepancies in documentation to the Health Information Management Manager
- Obtain and log data from external organizations for tracking and metrics
- Provide and obtain release of information documentation to relevant parties
- Support clinical teams by obtaining medical record requests promptly
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years' experience in a medical office or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, procedures, medications, and lab tests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patients and staff
- Attention to detail and prompt follow-up
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service
