High School History Teacher
**Overview:** Paden Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School History Teacher to join our team. As a small, rural school in Okfuskee county, Oklahoma, we pride ourselves on providing a personalized education to our students with an average class size of 16. **Responsibilities:**
Ā Teach high school history courses to students in grades 9-12
Ā Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
Ā Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
Ā Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Ā May be required to coach athletic or academic extracurriculars
Ā *Qualifications:**
Ā Bachelor's degree in History or related field
Ā Oklahoma teaching certification or ability to obtain
Ā Strong understanding of high school history curriculum
Ā Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ā Ability to work with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
