High School ELA / Writing Teacher – Remote

Test Preparation Tutor/Curriculum developer Duties: - Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students preparing for tests in ELA/Writing. - Teach test-taking strategies and techniques to improve performance and increase confidence. - Assist students in understanding complex concepts and solving problems. - Create and administer practice tests to assess progress and identify areas for improvement. - Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians. - Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment during tutoring sessions. - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment. Qualifications: - Strong knowledge and expertise in the subjects of ELA/Writing. - Previous experience in teaching or tutoring in High School education settings is preferred. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. - Patience and empathy when... working with students of different learning styles and abilities. - Strong organizational skills to develop study plans and track student progress. - Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs. - Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
