Job Summary:
As a High-Dosage Tutoring Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide academic support to selected students in a classroom setting. You will deliver individualized and small group instruction, track student progress, and collaborate with educators to determine effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement targeted interventions
Maintain required documentation of services provided (up to 19 hours/week)
Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
Support the Lamar County School District's mission and values
Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Passing scores on the "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Required references and background check
