Training Schedule: 8:00am - 3:30pm CST for the first week.
Regular Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm CST, Monday - Friday.
Job Description:
The Provider Contracting Representative will be responsible for recruiting dental providers to join Cignas dental network through outbound calls, negotiating contracts, and processing paperwork. This is a fully remote role with a high focus on phone communication and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Calling (90% of workday): Proactively contact dental providers to recruit them into Cigna's network.
Relationship Building: Share network options, explain the benefits of joining Cigna, and gain provider interest.
Negotiation: Negotiate discounts with providers for dental services.
Contract Processing: Complete the necessary paperwork for providers joining the network and track contacts within internal systems.
Communication: Deliver exceptional written and verbal communication with providers.
Adaptability: Switch between projects as per business needs in a fast-paced environment.
Technology: Set up and troubleshoot equipment with IT support as needed.

Excellent Communication: Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in processing contracts and managing paperwork.
Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
Focused Work Ethic: Ability to work consistently without distractions in a secure, dedicated home workspace during scheduled hours.
Skills & Experience:
Phone Etiquette: Experience handling inbound/outbound calls.
Sales Experience: Prior experience in a sales environment is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Problem Solving & Creative Thinking: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Relationship Management: Capable of fostering collaboration and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of precision in contract management and data entry.
Bilingual (English/Spanish): A plus but not required.
Dental Office Experience: A plus but not required.
Work Environment & Requirements:
100% Remote: Must support the CST time zone, working hours 8:00am - 4:30pm CST, Monday-Friday.
Technical Setup: A hard-wired internet connection with at least 10Mbps Download/5Mbps Upload speeds. Satellite internet is not supported.
Focused Workspace: Candidates must work from a secure and distraction-free environment.
Education & Certifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications: Proficiency in MS Office applications is preferred
