Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to maintain and update our database of patient assistance programs, medications, and medical diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical terminology and healthcare programs, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Update and maintain database entries for patient assistance programs (PAPs)
Input and verify medication information, including dosage forms and NDC codes
Manage and update ICD-10 diagnosis codes and descriptions
Research and document eligibility criteria for various assistance programs
Verify and update program requirements and documentation needs
Monitor changes in pharmaceutical assistance programs
Maintain accurate records of program updates and changes
Support the team with administrative tasks related to data management
Ensure data quality and consistency across the platform
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in healthcare-related data entry
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Familiarity with pharmaceutical assistance programs
Experience with database management and data entry tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with patient assistance programs
Knowledge of ICD-10 codes
Background in pharmacy, medical billing, or healthcare administration
Experience with healthcare software systems
Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare setting
