About the Role As a Healthcare Customer Service Expert at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking home healthcare services. You will work in a remote, high-volume call center environment, handling approximately 60-65 incoming calls per day from healthcare providers, referral sources, and patients. Your primary responsibility will be to collect clinical and demographic information and enter it into our CareCentrix portal, ensuring seamless and efficient patient intake. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and referral sources, providing exceptional customer service and support. Collect and accurately document clinical and demographic information in our CareCentrix portal. Navigate dual monitors and multiple applications to ensure efficient data entry and retrieval. Demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with difficult callers or complex requests. Comply with all blithequark policies, including HIPAA/PHI, to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and data security. Meet or exceed individual performance goals in areas such as Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and other Contact Center objectives. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience in a call center environment. Minimum 1 year of experience working in the healthcare or medical industry, with knowledge of medical terminology. Intermediate keyboarding abilities (at least 30 WPM, data entry while active listening). Basic PC & Search Engine abilities, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with healthcare technology platforms, such as CareCentrix. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
