Healthcare Analyst, Investor Engagement
Nasdaq is seeking a Healthcare Analyst for Investor Engagement to help companies identify and maintain long-term capital in their shareholder bases. The role involves advising healthcare companies on investor outreach strategies, conducting research on investors and capital markets trends, and developing presentation materials for client engagements.ResponsibilitiesAdvising publicly-traded Biotech, Pharma, and other Healthcare company investor relations and management teams on investor outreach strategies and execution (consult on conferences, NDRs and direct outreach, PMs and analysts for company engagement)Research buy-side investors/capital markets trendsDevelop presentation materials for client phone conversations, virtual presentations, and in-person meetingsSpending time in excel models one minute, then shifting to a call to advise a public company the next minuteSupport team in thought leadership creation and client meeting prepSkillsDeep knowledge and interest in healthcare, drug pipelines, and science-related researchComfort in a client facing role, particularly with C-Suite teamsPassion for problem solving and expanding one's skillsetVery strong quantitative skills; exceptional use of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint requiredComfort balancing a number of concurrent projects and analysesAttention to detail a mustStrong interpersonal skills and initiativeSolid understanding of and interest in the capital markets1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the capital marketsBenefitsGenerous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive)Equity (long-term incentive)Comprehensive benefitsCompany OverviewNasdaq is a global provider of trading, clearing, exchange technology, listing, information, and public company services.
