Title: HSE Engineer
Location: Remote
Qualifications:
Ā Bachelor's degree
Ā 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably within an operating plant environment
Ā Demonstrate a strong knowledge of major environmental legislation and regulations
Ā Possess excellent technical reading skills for reviewing contracts, permits, and regulations
Ā Have solid math skills for evaluating air and water emissions
Ā Are detail-oriented with strong organizational, writing, and spreadsheet skills
Ā Are willing to travel periodically
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Monitor and guarantee ongoing environmental compliance for our operational assets
Ā Support due diligence processes for new acquisitions and aid in asset divestitures
Ā Analyze and interpret contracts, permits, and environmental laws
Ā Assess air and water emissions to ensure they meet environmental standards
Ā Keep detailed records and oversee the management of environmental compliance documentation
Ā Periodically travel to different operational plants and due diligence locations
