Responsibilities
ā¢ Develops, conducts and evaluates health education programs.
ā¢ Researches, develops, designs and/or writes health education materials.
ā¢ Develops, conducts and advises related support groups.
ā¢ Develops and implements health education courses; conducts outreach programs.
ā¢ Coordinates publicity for programs, events, and related activities.
ā¢ May facilitate projects or activities related to attaining or maintaining accreditation.
ā¢ Develops and maintains information concerning services pertaining to health education and health concerns.
ā¢ May conduct or participate in research projects related to health issues.
ā¢ Provides skill training related to health issues.
ā¢ Performs related responsibilities as required.
Requirements
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Health Education or a related field and two years of experience in an area related to health education, OR a combination of education, training and experience.
ā¢ This role requires residency in the state of GA.
Nice-to-haves
ā¢ Prior directly related work experience with delivering health education on end stage kidney disease, and personal experience with end stage kidney disease.
