Head of Technology
What were looking for Head of Technology (Only for people located in Latinamerica). We are looking for a Head of Technology with experience leading software development teams. This is a strategic and hands-on role that will oversee all aspects of itopia's technology and product architectureensuring scalable delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with business goals. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams, define best practices, and drive the continued innovation of itopias core products. Key Responsibilities Build, lead, and scale high-performing software development teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, QA). Own the technical vision and architecture of product ecosystem, including CloudApps and SecureClass. Drive implementation of modern engineering practices: CI/CD, automated testing, code quality standards, peer reviews, etc. Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and deliverables. Implement and maintain agile methodologies across development cycles (Scrum / Kanban). Create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization. Ensure data security, system reliability, compliance, and scalability across all platforms. Work with leadership to align technical strategy with company growth objectives. Evaluate, adopt, and implement new technologies that optimize performance and customer experience. Represent the tech function with key partners (Google Cloud), enterprise clients, and external stakeholders. Requirements 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years leading development teams. Proven track record delivering cloud-based SaaS platforms in production environments. Strong background(leading) in modern backend and frontend development (Node.js, React, Python, Go, or similar). Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or other cloud-native architectures. Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code. Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing distributed engineering teams. Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to translate technical complexity into business impact.
