About the Position
The Brownwood Independent School District is seeking an experienced Girls Athletics Coach to lead our girls' sports teams. As a key member of our athletic department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective coaching strategies to help our student-athletes achieve success both on and off the field.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ā Develop and implement game plans that align with UIL rules and regulations.
Ā Conduct regular team practices and training sessions.
Ā Provide guidance and support to student-athletes in achieving their academic and athletic goals.
Ā Work collaboratively with the athletic director to schedule competitions and plan season activities.
Ā Maintain accurate records and reports related to team performance and athlete eligibility.
Requirements
Ā Valid Texas teaching certificate in Core Subject Area
Ā Current first aid, CPR, and AED certification
Ā Preferred: Valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
Ā Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
