The Head of Pricing, Vet Services, plays a crucial role in Greencross' success. This role involves developing, guiding, and supporting the vet pricing function to enhance revenue and margin performance across our clinics and hospitals. You will leverage data-driven, fact-based analysis to implement effective pricing strategies, influence management plans, and optimise billing, ultimately improving the client and front-line team experience. An overview of our role: The Head of Pricing, Vet Services will be responsible for the following: Pricing Leadership: Lead clinic and hospital pricing, revenue, margin strategies, and strategic price setting for market-leading products and services. Drive key pricing initiatives aligned with our integrated pet care model and business strategy. Manage timely development of all price operations, processes, and reporting. Build strategic pricing capabilities within the business. Lead an agile pricing team to improve pricing processes, operations, and decision-making quality. Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential and drive profitability. Collaborate with operations teams and the wider business for alignment and support. Lead change management and training to ensure effective implementation of pricing changes. Oversee the capture of competitor prices and promotion activities, enhancing our market intelligence database. Improved Billing & Margin Capture: Identify and execute opportunities to improve invoicing in clinics and hospitals, working closely with IT, L&D, and Veterinary Clinical Directors. Develop and track KPIs to optimize billing and reduce missed billings. Enhance billing structures within hospital and clinic Practice Management Systems. Collaborate with Procurement to manage cost price changes and improve margin capture. Strategy & Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve pricing mechanisms for clinics & hospitals within the Future PIMS project Make recommendations to changes to pricing structures based on market developments A little about you and your background: We are looking for a pricing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment. You will work autonomously while maintaining strong relationships with the finance and operations teams. Tertiary level qualification. Relevant pricing experience is ideal but not mandatory. Strong leadership skills and a disciplined approach to price and revenue management. Commercial acumen to inform pricing decisions Previous experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry Experienced with Microsoft Excel and other computer software skills.
