Head of M&A
Oak Tree Industries, LLC is a privately held holding company that acquires and operates well-established, profitable Green Service businesses across the Southeastern United States. Our mission is to become a top 100 Lawn & Landscape company.
We are seeking a Head of M&A to join our founding team. This is a part-time, equity-based role for a seasoned dealmaker with a proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing lower middle-market acquisitions. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial setting and is driven to build a high-performing portfolio from the ground up.
Compensation:
• 5% equity ownership in Oak Tree Industries, fully vested from day one
• Performance-based acquisition bonuses
• Full-time salary upon achieving sufficient cash flow
Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end M&A lifecycle — from sourcing to signed LOIs, diligence, and close
• Build and manage a high-conviction acquisition pipeline alongside the Owner
• Structure bankable, creative deal terms with support from legal and finance
• Oversee diligence efforts including data room management and deal checklists
• Track and report deal progress using internal CRM systems
• Provide strategic oversight of outreach efforts led by interns and junior staff
