The Role: Sitting within the IS Leadership Team, the Head of Data & Analytics will be responsible for strategically transforming Electrical Thermal Solutionsâ (ETS) data capabilities into a businessâled, valueâdriven data product organization that delivers measurable impact. The Head of Data & Analytics serves as a strategic bridge between business outcomes and data capabilities, ensuring the data roadmap aligns with commercial priorities and has clear executive sponsorship. You are not just building pipelines or reports; you are building trust, momentum, and measurable business impact through data, while empowering a high-performing global data team with shared goals and accountability. Within your first 12 Months at the organization, you will develop a 3-year data strategy roadmap that is executive-approved and tied to business outcomes. Additionally, you will lead the transition from fragmented, legacy reporting to a modern, scalable Data Platform to deliver data products that enable better, faster decisionâmaking and strategic growth. Your Responsibilities: Own the ETS Data Strategy, including a rolling 3âyear roadmap covering initiatives, architecture, investment, and capability growth. Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to identify highâvalue data useâcases and translate them into clearlyâdefined data products. Establish a transparent demand intake and prioritization model, ensuring the data team focuses on initiatives with the greatest business impact. Build compelling, outcomeâfocused business cases for data initiatives, securing executive sponsorship and sustainable funding aligned to business needs. Lead the evolution of the Azure-based Lakehouse (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory/Logic Apps), with a clear perspective on the role of Microsoft Fabric. Ensure consistent, highâquality ingestion from 20+ global ERPs, D365 CRM, and other enterprise platforms, operated as a dependable, businessâgrade service. Deliver a unified, governed Power BI reporting layer that provides consistent KPIs across business units and regions. Lead a migration from Cognos BI to Power BI with zero disruption to business operations. Establish a data democratization model that enables divisions to create their own insights using trusted, curated datasets, without compromising governance. Move beyond oneâoff reports to owned, supported data products with clear owners, users, and success measures. Grow and lead a high-performing, transatlantic data team across the US and EU/UK, developing both technical depth and business acumen. Own the strategic relationship with external data service providers, from commercial management to delivery outcomes. Define and enforce standards for data quality, security, access management, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, data privacy, regulated industries). Establish clear ways of working, service levels, and accountability, so the business knows what to expect from the data function. Requirements: At least 10+ years of experience working in a Data and Analytics environment with a degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, preferred. At least 3+ years of experience leading, coaching and developing a cross-functional team. Deep handsâon knowledge of the Microsoft data ecosystem (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI) with a clear view of Fabricâs potential role. Working experience with articulating the why, value, and tradeâoffs of data investments at Executive and Leadership level. Working experience leading a data function through scale, change, and increasing business expectations. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, legacy systems, and organizational resistance to deliver change. Deep understanding that data only matters when it drives decisions, behavior, or performance.
