Job Overview
This position is a team leader responsible for facilitating training, auditing, and overseeing daily operations. This position is responsible for providing educational feedback to the providers to ensure compliance with coding and billing requirements established by the payors. This position keeps Supervisor informed of daily progress and issues related to facility coding.
This position may be responsible for assisting their supervisor by approving time off, delegating duties, and any additional projects delegated by the Supervisor or Manager that are assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience with facility billing and coding preferred. RHIT, CCS, or CPC certification required.
