Family truly wants a caregiver looking to become part of the family and enjoy this role. Ideal candidates are even-keeled, active, love being outside, enjoy facilitating play, and have a solid understanding of child development. We would love to hear from you if your background and experiences include supporting preschool-aged children through all aspects of development, including social-emotional skills and regulation. This role includes helping with household management tasks during school hours when children are not present. Must be dog friendly! Although pet care is not a requirement, family would love a nanny who might enjoy taking their friendly lab along for adventures and walks with the children. Being available for occasional over-nights and potential travel with family is huge plus! Caregiver will be added to family's gym membership, have access to club amenities (pool/swimming, tennis, etc.), and beach passes. Must be comfortable with parents sometimes working from home. Caregiver must have reliable/safe vehicle for transporting the children. Family provides appropriate car seats. Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 2:30-5:30/6:00 & Wednesdays and Fridays 8:00-5:30/6:00 • *The hours listed are the hours that family requires care. If you would prefer 40 hours per week, family is willing to increase hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Thursdays to provide 40 hours. Please specify your preference in the application form. Charges: Boy, 4.5 years old & Boy, 3 years old Hourly Rate: $28-$32 per hour based on experience and fit • Additional flat overnight/travel rate: $150/night Benefits: Guaranteed weekly pay when family travels or otherwise opts out of care (number of hours dependent upon agreement), 1 week paid vacation of caregiver's choice, major holidays paid/off, 3 sick/personal days, gym membership, access to club amenities, paid beach passes for some local private beaches. Flexible for the right person Job description: • Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children • Facilitating engaging and age appropriate activities, games, and outings • Maintaining children's schedule • Preparing meals and snacks for children • Indoor and outdoor play • Transporting children from school and activities • Walks, swimming, and plenty of outdoor time • Household management tasks (during hours that children attend school) may include: laundry help, organizing, running errands, grocery shopping, help with basic meal prep, wiping down surfaces, emptying/loading dishwasher, general clean up and tidying (no deep cleaning) Requirements: • 5+ years professional childcare experience • Looking for long-term commitment • Flexibility with reasonable advanced notice • Self-starter with a pitch-in attitude • Non-smokers only, please. • Up-to-date CPR/First Aid Certification • Cheery and Helpful Disposition • Background Check (provided by agency) • Driving Record (provided by agency) • Excellent communication skills • Excellent organization skills • Takes good direction on parenting style then requires minimal to no oversight Nice to haves: • Any additional certifications Please apply through the link, we are looking forward to working with you!
