Job Description:
Join our team as a Seasonal Ramp Agent at Delta Air Lines in Denver, CO. As a vital member of our operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of cargo and passengers. This is a seasonal, full-time position with a variable schedule, working between 20-40 hours per week and up to 800 hours per year.
Responsibilities:
Securely lift, load, unload, and transport cargo, mail, and baggage to and from aircraft, as well as directing arriving and departing aircraft from gate positions.
Defend cargo, items, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
Operate ground equipment such as tractors, belt loaders, and tow tug haulers in areas of congestion.
Operate cargo scanners and computers to ensure accurate handling and routing of cargo to its destination.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and security.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including hearing protection, safety toe footwear, defensive headwear, and high visibility safety clothing.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods.
