About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Product team in Carlsbad, working on one of our flagship mobile games. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in driving business decisions, analyzing game metrics, and informing product strategies. Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Product Manager in developing and managing games
Conduct feature analysis using SQL, Tableau, and Excel to drive business decisions
Analyze data, build automated reports, and work with the analytics team to optimize game metrics
Validate business intelligence calls and ensure data accuracy
Assist in managing in-game economy, sales, push notifications, seasonal content, and user acquisition
Evaluate industry trends and competitor analysis to inform product roadmaps
Design A/B test experiments and forecast KPI improvements
Communicate insights and recommendations to team members
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the mobile games industry
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, and Excel
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, business, or related fields
Nice to Have:
Passion for games and player-centric approach
Curious, self-driven, and thorough in analysis studies
Experience with ambiguous tasks and complex problem-solving
