ā About the Role
We are seeking an experienced H-1B Immigration Specialist to provide hands-on training, operational guidance, and document preparation support for our growing workforce programs. This role is ideal for a former immigration paralegal, case manager, or HR compliance specialist with deep practical experience in H-1B filings.
The consultant will help establish internal processes, train our team on USCIS and DOL requirements, and support the preparation of H-1B LCAs, PAFs, I-129 filings, and related petitions. This is a high-impact consulting engagement focused on helping us build a fully compliant, efficient immigration workflow. ā
Key Responsibilities
Training & Knowledge Transfer
⢠Provide structured training on end-to-end H-1B processing
⢠Explain USCIS, DOL, and FLAG requirements in practical terms
⢠Walk the team through LCAs, I-129 packets, wage memos, and PAFs
⢠Develop internal SOPs, templates, checklists, and workflow documents
⢠Conduct real-time coaching using live or sample cases
Process Setup
⢠Assist with creation of internal H-1B compliance files
⢠Help design timelines, document tracking systems, and case workflows
⢠Review or set up PAF structures, actual wage documentation, and LCA postings
⢠Identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements
Hands-On Case Preparation (As Needed)
⢠Prepare or review LCAs (ETA 9035)
⢠Review supporting documents for Form I-129
⢠Assist with petition assembly and organization
⢠Provide guidance on RFE prevention and documentation strategy
⢠Review job descriptions for specialty occupation alignment
Compliance Guidance
⢠Ensure company processes meet DOL, USCIS, and DHS regulations
⢠Advise on employer responsibilities, wage obligations, and audit readiness
⢠Provide clarity on amendments, transfers, extensions, and cap-subject filings
ā Required Qualifications
⢠3+ years experience as an Immigration Paralegal, Case Manager, or H-1B Specialist
⢠Strong hands-on experience preparing H-1B filings (LCA, I-129, PAF)
⢠Familiarity with USCIS, FLAG, DOL, and SEVIS systems
⢠Experience with staffing, consulting, or high-volume filings preferred
⢠Ability to train and explain complex processes clearly
⢠Strong organizational and documentation skills
⢠High attention to detail and accuracy
