About the position
The Growth Merchant Lead (GML) for Emerging Markets at DoorDash is responsible for driving new business and partnerships with local and regional restaurants across the US. This role focuses on expanding DoorDash's presence in untapped markets, primarily in rural areas, and involves a significant amount of travel to meet with restaurant owners and negotiate revenue agreements. The GML will work within a fast-paced, transactional deal cycle to close new business quickly and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.
Responsibilities
• Travel to emerging markets to expand DoorDash's footprint.

Requirements
• 2.5+ years of experience in a closing sales role or related experience.

• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet with restaurant owners.

• Efficient and strategic in using inside and outside sales tactics to reach goals.

• Experience using a CRM (Salesforce) and Google Apps.
