Job DescriptionWHAT DOES A GROUP COPY SUPERVISOR, MARKET ACCESS DO?The Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) is an active contributor to the creative and strategic teams, taking full responsibility of the work and owning concept and copy development on various projects across the portfolio ranging in complexity and scope. The GCS has a proven ability to multitask and delegate as appropriate to ensure seamless management of projects of varying types, while still contributing to developing projects. The GCS is a direct liaison between creative and senior account team members, focused on consistently delivering work that answers strategic, business and creative expectations. The GCS possesses advanced presentation skills and is often called upon to participate in client brainstorming and new business pitches. The GCS is also responsible for providing career-building guidance, mentorship and support to the copy team to foster growth and development.QualificationsWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education plus professional experience) required7-8 years of agency/healthcare writing experienceAt least 3 years of experience in branded and unbranded topics related to managed markets such as PIE presentations, value proposition messaging and presentations, formulary kits, value proposition messaging/presentations, formulary kits, reimbursement support materials for HCP offices, internal and external market access training, population health materials, and cost and coverage resourcesAt least 3 years of agency experience supervising market access content for a brand(s)Examples of branded or unbranded collateral conveying key marketing messages and scientific content through a storytelling lens for market access stakeholders, eg, payers, PBMs, integrated delivery networks/health systems, and internal pharma/biotech teamsExpertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copyExperience with complex projects that include internal and external account and creative teamsClient-facing confidence that advances dialogue, sells strategic ideas, and creates strong agency-client relationshipsProficient in American Medical Association (AMA) styleFamiliarity with FDA/OPDP regulations and guidelinesDemonstrates strong leadership abilities to mentor, supervise, and set a career path for more junior-level writers, specificallyProactively monitors the progress of both own and direct reports’ assigned projects, providing direction, input, and feedback on direct reports’ workCoordinates assignments among assigned freelance writers and manages the quality of freelance work before sharing with the broader team (Art, Account, Clinical, etc)Assesses day-to-day copywriting needs and alerts supervisor to coverage gaps within the agency or availability to support other teams as neededAdditional InformationOUR CULTURAL BELIEFS:Patient Minded I act with the patient’s best interest in mind. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $119,000 to $176,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
