Join the 26FIVE team as our newest Graphic Design Intern. We are a focused, passionate, driven, fun-loving, supportive, and successful NYC-based team looking for a Graphic Design Intern who shares our outlook and wants to work and learn in a growth-driven environment. PLEASE NOTE: PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed. Job Summary: The Graphic Designer Intern will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. Duties/ Responsibilities: • Collaborates with client, Creative Leads, Account Managers, Strategists, and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message. • Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way. • Chooses graphics and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with other elements. • Selects fonts based on brand guidelines for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants. • Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to Creative Leads or other appropriate staff or departments for review. • Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process. • Consults with Creative Leads, Account Managers, and/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects. • Prepares files for client delivery per specified instructions on notification of final approval. • Maintains records of billable project time as required. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software. • Organized with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently on an assignment. • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree completion or expected upcoming required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
