Graphic Design Internship - Milwaukee
Join Baird’s Graphic Design team as a hybrid internship in Milwaukee, contributing to print and digital projects while developing your design skills. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Develop and execute layouts, designs, and production from concept through completion for social, digital web, print, video, and photography projects • Collaborate with the in-house creative team while interpreting brand guidelines to maintain consistent visual brand representation • Participate in various project phases including print and digital production, concept brainstorming, and team meetings • Contribute to print-based design projects, including artwork changes, revisions, layout, and design • Prepare appropriate files for vendors • Assist on web-based project needs as necessary About You The company is looking for: • Pursuing a degree in art, graphic design, or visual communications • Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop in a Mac environment • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Word • Strong design and typographical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional clarity • Organizational excellence with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery • High motivation, proactivity, strategic thinking, and commitment to learning and contributing effectively • Solid portfolio demonstrating relevant skills • Must be a local student able to work full time (37.5-40 hours/week) during summer and part time (15-20 hours/week) during school semesters Training & Development Gain real-world experience through Baird’s high-impact summer intern program, including hands-on projects, mentorship, dynamic events, and professional development opportunities.
