Graphic Design Internship
About the position
Munchkin’s Graphic Design Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the consumer products industry. This position will be responsible for creating and producing graphic and digital design assets from initial concept through final execution. The intern will engage in all facets of the creative process, collaborating with team members and developing executive-level presentation materials. The duration of the semester internship programs regardless of which start/end option is 10-12 weeks. Program date options: Option 1: Spring 2026 Option 2: Summer 2026 Option 3: Fall 2026 Interns will be expected to work 40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Responsibilities
• Create and produce graphic and digital design assets from initial concept through final execution
• Collaborate and construct ideas within a team-based design environment.
• Create visual assets (digital and print) and la youts
• Prepare assets and graphics for a wide range of media, including our marketing website, emails, packaging, print collateral, digital ads, and more.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
• Full-time student at an accredited 4-year college/university and minimum 3.5 GPA or better preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people of all levels and ability to function in a team environment
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (work samples will be requested)
• Must be able to work on-site in Van Nuys, CA
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Munchkin
• A portfolio is required
