Role Description
This is a remote internship opportunity for a Grant Writer & Fundraising Specialist. In this role, you will help identify and pursue funding opportunities that support A Tiger Cub's mission of strengthening connection within immigrant communities. Responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, drafting grant proposals, managing application timelines, maintaining funder relationships, and supporting broader fundraising initiatives. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop funding strategies that enable community events, cultural programs, storytelling projects, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
• Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling grant proposals and funding applications
• Experience with grant writing, fundraising, donor outreach, or nonprofit development preferred
• Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant grant and funding opportunities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple deadlines
• Passion for community building, cultural initiatives, and immigrant communities
• Familiarity with nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, or social impact work is a plus
• Background in communications, nonprofit management, public policy, business, or a related field is advantageous
