We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Design Organization! This is an excellent opportunity for you to jump into your Engineering career by working on a variety of electrical power generation, distribution and utilization system projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: P Creation and presentation of power studies Detailed design of electrical power systems Preparation of electrical equipment procurement specifications Preparation of electrical construction documents
Responsibilities
• Creation and presentation of power studies
• Detailed design of electrical power systems
• Preparation of electrical equipment procurement specifications
• Preparation of electrical construction documents
Requirements
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Up to 2 years of experience in the design of electrical power generation, distribution and utilization systems
Nice-to-haves
• Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Working knowledge of NFPA70 (NEC) and other electrical industry codes, standards and recommended practices is preferred
• Familiarity with ETAP, SKM or other computer-assisted power study programs, and an interest or experience in performing short-circuit & protective relaying analysis and power studies is a plus

• Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee
• Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, Home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.—Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices
