Position Responsibilities
_??_As an Engineer II, you will:
Β Collaborate with your team to design and develop scalable, resilient, and distributed systems.
Β Partner with product owners, designers and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that meets customer needs and business objectives
Β Participate in design and code reviews, contribute to automated testing, and maintain a high bar on code quality by applying best practices
Β Identify and resolve issues in existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Β Stay up to date with the latest technologies, frameworks and methodologies to continuously improve our software products and development processes.
Qualifications
Β Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Golang, Python, Javascript , or C# including object-oriented design
Β Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
Β In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms
Β Experience building products using microservices, event-driven architecture and extensible REST APIs
Β Experience with cloud computing tooling across the software development life cycle and ability to leverage it for Devops, Infrastructure as code, observability, telemetry, CI/CD and test automation
Β Strong problem-solving ability
Β Strong oral and written communication skills
Β Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment demonstrating initiative and ownership
Experience
Β ??2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Β ?2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
Β ?2+ years of experience in open source frameworks
Education
Β BachelorΒs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
