Government Contract Cost/Price Analyst Needed
We are seeking an experienced Government Contract Cost and Price Analyst to support federal proposal pricing, cost analysis, and pricing strategy for government contracting opportunities.
The consultant will assist with developing cost proposals, labor rate calculations, indirect rates, profit analysis, and competitive pricing strategies for federal and state government proposals. The ideal candidate should have experience with FAR and DFARS pricing requirements and understand government proposal pricing structures.
Scope of work includes:
- Cost buildup and price analysis
- Labor category pricing and rate development
- Indirect rate structure (overhead, G&A, fringe)
- Profit analysis and pricing strategy
- Competitive price analysis
- Basis of Estimate documentation
- FAR and DFARS compliant pricing
- Excel pricing models
- Break-even and profitability analysis
- Support for proposal pricing volumes
Experience with government contracting, DCAA requirements, and federal proposal pricing is strongly preferred.
This will start as a small engagement but may lead to ongoing proposal and pricing support for multiple government opportunities.
