Senior Golang Engineer

Primary Responsibilities
• Design and develop a Go-based Linux system agent running as a systemd service across server fleets.
• Implement first-boot registration with cluster management platforms.
• Build continuous health heartbeat and telemetry reporting.
• Establish secure machine identity using mTLS certificates.
• Monitor hardware and OS health, including CPU, memory, disk, GPU, driver visibility, FIPS mode, and security posture.
• Develop resilient retry mechanisms for network and platform interruptions.
• Create test harnesses and mock services for validation before hardware availability.
Qualifications:
• Strong expertise in Go (Golang) with minimum of 5+ years of experience.
• Extensive Linux systems experience, including systemd, networking, boot-time debugging, certificates, logging, and process supervision.
• Proven experience building agents, daemons, node-level services, infrastructure clients, or edge-device software.
• Solid understanding of REST and/or gRPC APIs, retries, idempotency, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Strong security mindset with expertise in certificates, machine identity, and secure provisioning.
Minimum qualifications:
• Experience with bare-metal servers, Kubernetes nodes, PXE provisioning, immutable OS images, or hardware telemetry.
• Familiarity with GPU tooling such as NVIDIA SMI, Habana SMI, ROCm, or accelerator health monitoring.
